- How much are the participation costs?
- Do I have to pay participation costs even if I receive an Erasmus Mundus scholarship?
- I want to attend the degree as a self-funded student. When should I pay participation fees?
Participation costs are EUR 8,000 per academic year for 3rd country scholarship holders and self-funded students and EUR 4,000 for EU and EEA-EFTA scholarship holders and self-funded students. Self-funded students can pay all participation costs at once before starting the programme or pay fees in five instalments; the first instalment is charged immediately upon admission to the programme.
Yes, you do. All students pay participation costs, regardless having or not an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. Participation costs are used for paying teachers and administrative staff, for the general management of the degree, etc. The costs will be deducted directly from the scholarships.
You should pay the first instalment of the participation fees before arrival, to secure a place in the programme. However, you can also pay all participation costs prior to your arrival, if you prefer.
