MissionUnstoppable: Collaboration, Engagement, Transformation

4400 km Sustainable Development Tour from Aalborg to Aveiro

Since 2007, the universities of Hamburg (TUHH), Barcelona (UAB), Aveiro (UA), and Aalborg (AAU) have collaborated and delivered excellent education, learning and innovation in the realm of environmental engineering and sustainable development.

By the end of 2018, more than 300 students have graduated from our joint master’s programme, JEMES.

Our mission now is to ensure that this number grows every year so that our collaboration continues and supports a realisation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development - #missionunstoppable for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

MissionUnstoppable is a combined bike-n-ride trip through Europe – from Aalborg in northern Denmark to Aveiro in central Portugal. 4400 kilometres. In one month. With stops at partners - former, current and potential - work-places of JEMES Alumni; towns, cities and organisations who make a difference; internship hosts; living labs etc. And stories about concrete actions, engagement, collaborations and transformations.

Stay tuned! On Facebook, Instagram and perhaps even through a tweet now and again... Live tracking of the bike ride is set up, and you can follow us on the road here
