Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree student scholarships (from 2015 - ends with 2016 intake) - not applicable for the 2017-2019 edition
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree student scholarships will include the students' participation costs (including the tuition fees, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory costs related to the students' participation in the course), a contribution to student travel and installation cost as well as a subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the EMJMD study programme (until graduation - 24 months maximum). Details on the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree student scholarship amounts are given in the table below:
[1] Students who are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in a Programme Country. The five-year reference period for this 12-month rule is calculated backwards as from the submission deadline defined by the consortia of applying for a EMJMD student scholarship.
The actual amount of the individual scholarships will vary in accordance with:
a) the EMJMD length (120 ECTS - a maximum of 24 months);
b) the student country/region of residence;
c) the EMJMD participation costs (see more under Participation costs).
Distance calculator
For grant support to travel costs in the Erasmus Mundus programme, travel distances must be calculated using the distance calculator provided by the EACEA. Based on the distance expressed in km, the corresponding distance band must be chosen in the application and report forms.
